Beautiful smooth round cabs made from bamboo coral. The smooth surface of a coral bead can only be attained from cutting the center (core) of the branches of coral. These classic round cabs are great for stud earring or rings. These rounds are actually 5-5.2mm, so hand-made bezels are recommended for these cabs.

Please note that these are dyed, and the highest quality dyed coral is generally made from bamboo coral. Natural bamboo coral colors range from light gray to tan, but it absorbs dye amazingly due to its porous nature. Be aware that NATURAL RED coral is illegal to import and export, meaning they are very expensive due to lack of availability. So if you have bought or planning to buy natural red coral, make sure you know your sources and not buying dyed bamboo coral at a much higher price tag, because the majority of red coral that are currently out there in the market are bamboo coral.
